I feel very strongly that what Imus said was wrong. I don't dig that mentality and I think he should have gotten punished. What I don't get though; is, when did people forget that little saying "Be the bigger person?" It seems like all these things keep happening and the victims just carry on until people stop feeling sorry for them. Not that the women in this particular situation did that, because from what I understand they handled the situation pretty well. It is the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons that are driving me insane. Jesse Jackson is letting the girl from the Duke case keep the scholarship he gave her. You know, because she is black and was "assaulted" or whatever by those rich white boys. Even though it is pretty apparent at this point she lied, he is still rewarding her. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are two of the most RACIST people that are currently in the public eye.

YES, it is racist if you only care about and/or help people of certain color. Promoting an all black school is also racism. I don't care what anyone says, racism is racism. Until people like these two idiots get told to go shove it, racism isn't going away.

How is it okay for Carlos Mencia (comedian of the tv show Mind Of Mencia) to have a segment on his show called "Are You Smarter Than A Wetback?" I don't care that he is Mexican. If other people can't say that term without being flamed then it is not okay for him to have that on a television program.

I am so sick of all of this, it is bullshit. A white person can't say ANYTHING anymore. You bet your ass though that anyone of ANY color can say anything derogatory, and that makes it okay. This is America sweethearts, if it is okay for one it should be okay for all. If you don't like that then get the hell out of our free country. I believe in equality for everyone. I love the fact that this country is so diverse. I really HATE that this country is letting racism over run it though.

I am so sorry that some asswipes kept black people for slaves. Honestly though, it is time to forgive and forget. AKA BE THE BIGGER FREAKIN PERSON! No human being should ever be treated so badly, and it is never okay. It was a long time ago though, so GET OVER IT. My ancestors were treated badly too. Their land was taken from them, they were raped and killed too. They were given diseases that killed them. You don't see me asking for handouts, special treatment, or my own special college ONLY for people like me. Don't ever forget the struggles that your ancestors endured, but LEARN something from them. Don't use THEIR miseries to get yourself something. You didn't go through that, You weren't whipped, tortured, abused. If you were, then by all means you deserve an apology. My bet is though that you weren't, that you have never had to feel a one millionth of the struggle those people felt. Use what you know, get an education and do it yourself. You will have a lot more pride in the end.
